Dr. Shriram Sarvotham

Shriram Sarvotham a Ph.D., E-RYT-500 has been an ardent practitioner of yoga since childhood. He was initiated into yoga by his teacher, Yogacharya R. Subramanian from Chennai, India, with whom he studied for 14 years. Shriram has been teaching yoga since 1991 in India; he has also taught over 300 yoga workshops and retreats all over the USA. His workshops offer a holistic experience of yoga and blend wisdom from classic Yoga texts including Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Yajnavalkya, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, etc. His students are led to discover the core principles of Yoga contained in the classic Yoga texts which in turn profoundly elevates the quality of their Yoga practice. Shriram has given lectures, demonstrations, and workshops at prestigious conferences such as the Yoga Alliance Leadership Conference, Texas Yoga Conference, Texas Medical Conference, etc. Shriram is a founding member of EkaShri Schools of Yoga and is also a faculty member of the Teacher Training Program of Yoga Bharati. Shriram is a recipient of the “Exemplary Service Award in Yoga” given by the Consulate General of India in 2015, and the “Yoga Service Award” given by ISKCON in 2009. Shriram holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, Houston, and works as a senior engineer in the tech industry in the Bay Area, California.

Tutition and Payment

The tuition fee per credit hour for the Certificate Program courses is $200. The total cost of the Certificate program with 24 credit hours is $4,800. However, students have the option of signing up for annual payment plans that will reduce the cost.

The following payment plans are available:

  • Pay in Full: $3,600 one-time payment. Saving of $1,200.
  • 2-Year Payment Plan: $1,900 per year, total of $3,800. Saving of $1000.
  • 3-Year Payment Plan: $1,400 per year, total of $4,200. Saving of $600.
  • 4-Year Payment Plan: $1,100 per year, total of $4,400. Saving of $400.
  • Pay-as-you-go: $ 200 per Credit Hour, total of $4800. Full Price.

There is also a one-time administration fee of $100 to be paid initially at the time of enrollment in the program.
