TAT2200 – (CPHS – Elective Course) This course will provide students a practical introduction to the musical tapestry of Bharat through instruction of songs and a glimpse into the inspiring lives of great bhakti saints.
Aks (Ashwin Subramanian) is an LA-based composer, producer and vocalist with credits spanning albums, film & TV, and video games. Trained by Oscar-winner AR Rahman, Aks creates music that blends electronic orchestration with soulful Indian melodies. He has composed music for over 200 original songs and is adjunct faculty in UCLA’s Film Scoring program.
